Young people in the north should be able to face crises and changes with resilience, critical thinking and a strong sense of mastery.

The initiative will strengthen young people’s ability to meet challenges in today’s and tomorrow’s society, build preparedness, and promote critical thinking, problem-solving and mastery. Activities target lower and upper secondary schools, youth conferences, seminars and debates for youth and young adults, as well as a targeted project call in collaboration with Samfunnsløftet.

Goals:

  • Strengthen young people’s psychosocial coping skills, preparedness, and sense of belonging in the region.
  • Develop young people’s ability for critical thinking and exchange of opinions.
  • Promote youth participation in public discourse and freedom of expression.

Activities:

  • Call for project proposals: True:VOICE
  • International Youth Seminar
  • Conversations with 15‑year‑olds, 15 years after July 22
  • Nordic Arctic Youth Summit 2.0
  • Collaboration with WEXFO
  • Young Stories
  • And much more!
