All young people should have real opportunities to influence societal development and shape their local communities.
The initiative will create arenas for experimentation and community development across Northern Norway, where young people can develop and test new ideas for the society of the future together with decision‑makers. The aim is to create concrete, youth‑led solutions that provide lasting value for local communities.
Activities include workshops, dialogue meetings, Policy Labs, youth conferences and creative processes linked to young people’s everyday lives and prospects – focusing on themes relevant to young people in the region. By collaborating with youth councils, youth organisations, schools and local stakeholders, the initiative ensures broad participation and strong local anchoring.
The project team will also embark on Idea Tours in autumn 2025 and 2026 across Nordland, Troms and Finnmark to gather input directly from young people and to run local input workshops throughout the region.
